I know that summer is still several months away, but that doesn’t mean that I can’t be excited for it now. You may think that the warm weather is the reason that I am already excited for it to be summer, and while I will admit that is partially true, that is not the main reason that I am ready for summer (and specifically the month of July) to get here.
The biggest reason that I am ready for the summer to arrive is because I am going to be taking a twelve day long trip with my wife. For the last six summers, we have taken a trip of approximately the same length to a different destination each year. For this year’s trip, we are going to be visiting Victoria BC.
The great thing about taking a longer trip is that you really get to experience what a place is like. Instead of just having time to hit the tourist spots, we are going to get a great understanding of Victoria BC and the culture of the people who call it home.
