I feel so lucky that I am honestly able to say that I have an extremely cool girlfriend. I know that a lot of guys view their girlfriends as a necessary burden, but I can tell you that this is not at all how I feel about my girlfriend. You may think that I’m exaggerating, but if you ask any of my buddies what they think about my girlfriend, they will all tell you that they are jealous of the fact that I found such a cool girl to be in a relationship with.

The interesting thing about my relationship with my girlfriend is that we were friends for nearly two years before we went on our first date. The reason that I waited so long to ask her on a date was because we were extremely close as friends, and I was afraid that I would ruin that relationship. However, while we were still friends, we went on a trip to Vancouver with several of our other friends, and during that trip I decided it was time to take the plunge and ask her out on a date. Fortunately for me, our chemistry as a couple was just as good as our chemistry as friends!
