Two months ago, I took a trip to Victoria BC with one of my best friends. Not only did my best friend and I grow up together, but we were also roommates for all four years of college. Unfortunately, after we graduated college, we both got job offers in different states, so after twenty-two years of living within five miles of each other, we got separated by over a thousand miles. Even though we’re far apart, we are just as close as ever thanks to email and the phone.

When we both found out that we had some vacation time at work to use, we decided it would be fun to take a trip together. We chose Victoria BC because neither of us had ever been there before. In addition to finding our hotel and flight tickets, I also volunteered to take care of getting our rental car. I decided to rent from Thrifty, and I’m very glad that I did. Thrifty had our rental car ready for us when we arrived, and we didn’t encounter any problems with it during the trip. When we dropped our rental car off at Thrifty before leaving, we were charged exactly what we were expecting to be.
