My wife is a tricky lady, and I mean that in a good way. If you want an example of what I’m talking about, let’s jump back about a month ago to Christmas Day. As we were opening our presents in the morning, I opened several different gifts from her, and they were all nice things. However, none of them were any big gifts, but I was completely fine with that. Once we finished opening our gifts, we moved to a different room and relaxed with a couple of mimosas. After talking and relaxing for an hour, my wife suddenly acted like she had forgotten something and ran to a different room.
When she came back, she had an envelope in her hand and a big smile on her face. I opened the envelope, and pulled out two tickets to Victoria BC. My wife said Merry Christmas, and I could not stop smiling. We just got back from our trip to Victoria BC, and I can say that we had a wonderful time. I think my favorite part was driving through Victoria in our rental car and taking in all of the beautiful scenery.
